FAQ’s about the new Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Parking Fees

Walt Disney World Resorts in Florida will begin charging resort hotel parking fees on new reservations effective March 21, 2018. Bookings made before this date will not be affected by this fee. The Walt Disney World Resort accommodates people with disabilities. Therefore, parking fees do not apply to Guests with Disabilities.

Resort hotel parking fees

The standard charges also including taxes for overnight parking are as follows:

  • Value Resorts-$13 per night
  • Moderate Resorts- $19 per night
  • Deluxe Resorts and Villas-$24 per night

Parking Fee not a Resort Fee

The new parking fee for resort hotel Guests will only apply when parking a vehicle overnight.  These fees will not affect you if you are not parking a vehicle at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel overnight.

Valet parking fees at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Villas will increase to $33 per night.  However, Guests with disabilities and a valid parking permit will receive complimentary valet parking.

Complimentary Transportation for Guests staying at Disney Resort Hotels

There is free round-trip Transportation to the Disney theme parks, Disney resort hotels, and Disney Springs.  The types of transportation provided include bus, boat, and monorail.
Note- Each Resort Hotel and theme park offers different types of transportation.

Not included when booking your reservation

Resort hotel parking fees are not included in your Walt Disney World Resort reservation. However, parking fees will be billed upon check-out.

Parking at the theme parks

Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests will still receive complimentarily standard parking at Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are no fees for parking at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach water parks

Visiting other Disney Resort Hotels

Day passes will be given to Guests while dining, shopping, or enjoying other entertainment at other Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

Annual Passholders

As a result of the new parking fees, Annual Passholders staying overnight at a Disney resort hotel will not be exempt from these parking fees.

Campsites

There are no parking fees at Walt Disney World Resort campsites.  The campgrounds offer one complimentary parking space per campsite for one motorized vehicle.
